Dr. David notes the degree of results cannabis has had on a variety of maladies, but perhaps none more common than chronic pain, a condition which plagues Emergency Rooms nationwide. He has seen thousands of patients who have been able to significantly reduce or eliminate their need for opiates for chronic pain. This alone was the eye opening factor in looking at Cannabis as the medicine it truly is, and led to further study into Cannabis, the science of the ECS, and application to patient care.
Dr. David is a proponent of the continued clinical study and scientific advance of cannabis for its use in emergent, acute and chronic care management. Contrary to the mantra of conventional medicine, that there is not enough research to approve the use of Cannabis, there are thousands of published papers on the science of the ECS and Cannabis pharmacology, as well as thousands of patients who have benefited from their use of Cannabis. As numerous studies showing the risk profile of Cannabis to be better - that is, safer - than most pharmaceuticals on the market, there should be no roadblocks to the use Cannabis and thus allowing the further studies of Cannabis to substantiate therapeutic effect.

Dr. Janice is a wife, mother, physician, best-selling author and cannabis expert. Dr. Janice grew up the 4th of 15 children in Richmond, California. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of California Berkeley and medical school at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Janice uses her expertise, experience and knowledge of cannabis therapeutics to help cure and relieve symptoms of chronic disease that traditional medicine has failed to conquer. Dr. Janice is certified by the American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine as a Cannabinoid Medicine Specialist. Dr. Janice is a much sought-after speaker for cannabis therapeutics nationally and abroad.
Dr. Janice firmly believes that cannabinoid care starts with the understanding of the intricate and complex physiology of the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). Knowledge is rapidly changing as more research uncovers the depth of the ECS. Taking care of patients relies upon providers staying current of the science as the mysteries of the ECS are revealed. Along with her teammates at The American Cannabinoid Clinics, Dr. Knox believes in an integrative approach to delivering medical cannabis care that is rooted in evidence-based Lifestyle and Functional Medicine.

After completing her residency in preventive medicine, Dr. Jessica began her study of the endocannabinoid system and cannabis medicine. She delights in teaching patients, other healthcare professionals, and the public about the power and promise of this incredible system and its associated toolkit. She has spoken on numerous medical cannabis panels, presented at cannabis conferences nationwide, and appeared on nationally televised programs and global webcasts to discuss the burgeoning field of Endocannabinology.
Dr. Jessica has also developed expertise in the design and delivery of multi-state telemedicine care. During her tenure as medical director at a Silicon Valley teleheath startup, Dr. Jessica oversaw the growth of the telemedicine practice from serving zero patients to over 100,000 patients in just over 3 years.

She is passionate about educating her professional peers and broader public about the safety and effectiveness of Cannabinoid Medicine, the evidence-based clinical integration of Endocannabinology with Cannabinology, the study of the pharmacology of cannabinoids and other cannabimimetic biologics. She further believes that the ECS validates a biopsychosociospiritual model of medicine, and that it provides the biologic evidence for the ancient medical practices that model the same.
As a Cannabinoid Medicine specialist and endocannabinologist who has counseled several thousand patients in cannabis therapeutics, she has seen first-hand how significant a role cannabis and cannabimimetic modalities play in helping patients reclaim their health and overall sense of wellness, establishing renewed ownership over their lives. She has witnessed her patients safely use cannabis as adjunctive therapy to their conventional treatment plans, to wean from prescription drugs, find relief from the side effects of toxic therapies, or avoid conventional pharmaceuticals altogether.
Dr. Rachel believes that industry-wide engagement is necessary to maintain the highest standards of care and oversight, from seed to use, in the service of providing education and compassionate, wholly informed care to patients everywhere. This passion extends into further educating communities of color in the role cannabis can play in addressing the Minority Health Disparity Gap, and the broader way in which cannabis can impact the physical, spiritual, social, economic and political wellness of these communities.
Dr. Knox is a co-founder of the American Cannabinoid Clinics and ADVENT Academy, medical committee chairperson for the Minority Cannabis Business Association, member of the Cannabis Policy Oversight Team for Portland, OR, board member of NuLeaf Project in Portland, OR, spokesperson for Doctors for Cannabis Regulation, certified member of the American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine, and Chair for the Oregon Cannabis Commission.
